HIGH ROTATIONS

As my first time actively experiencing a Radiohead release, this week as been quite a ride. From disappearing completely, to mailing out postcards and the release of Burn The Witch, Radiohead have managed to keep everybody in the dark until now: the ninth album from the Oxford band has been officially announced hand in hand with new song Daydreaming. Unlike the tightly wound Burn The Witch, the latest offering is a gorgeous piano ballad spurred on by Thom’s haunting vocals and elevated by other-worlds touched from Ed and Jonny. Accompanied by a video directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, Daydreaming looks and sounds like a band really hitting their creative stride.
