Amongst all the speculation on Radiohead’s ninth album (which we won’t speculate on), Thom Yorke has taken time to team up with fellow UK artist Mark Pritchard for his upcoming album ‘Under The Sun’. Yorke lends his voice on the track Beautiful People, a breath of fresh air that embraces the minimal and the spacious. Pritchard’s production is clean and subtle, giving the song an airy and ambient flow, lifted by the clean and effected vocals floating on top that help the song soar. Yorke and Pritchard’s partnership has created a beautifully crafted track, hopefully and indication of what’s to come from both camps. 'Under The Sun' will arrive on 13 May 2016 through Warp Records. |
